A look back and ahead…

Buckridge Bailey earned his fifth win of the 2007 season on Friday for trainer Edward Perdue. The 3-year-old colt was mildly urged by jockey Carlos Dominguez during his five length victory in a five and one-half furlong time of 1:04.31.

A dinner and auction will be held at the new Purple Haze Center on Friday evening by the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program. The fundraiser will begin at 6:00 p.m. to support the charity, which aids in finding a second career for retired race horses.
