A look back and ahead…

Sweet Sweet Molly distanced herself from her rivals in Sunday’s eighth race to score a three and one-half length victory under jockey Jeremias Flores. The 5-year-old mare ceized the lead from Regally early in the race then drew away from the field on the front end. The James Wright-trainee covered the six furlong distance in a time of 1:12.02.

A Very Young Jet, despite a sluggish start in Monday’s eighth race, was able to use his early speed to defeat his opponents by two and one-quarter lengths for trainer Jonathan Buckley. The chestnut New York-bred was ridden to victory by Gabriel Suarez who held the 5-year-old gelding under wraps in the late stages of the race with no threat of being caught.

Longshot of the Week: Song and Delight, the 2-5 favorite in Saturday’s eighth race, reacted to a loose horse and went wide on the final turn opening the door for a big price winner. Sweet Nobility with odds of 28-1, took advantage of the mishap and finished with a late run up the rail to achieve an upset win. Gabriel Suarez was aboard the 5-year-old mare who is trained by "Longshot Sal" Iorio.
