A look back and ahead…

Leap to Fame notched her second win in a row for trainer Sal Iorio Jr. on Friday. The 4-year-old filly rallied in the stretch under jockey Dean Frates to score a two and three-quarter length victory in the eighth race over a sloppy surface. She now has three wins and a second in four career starts on off-tracks.

Monday, December 3 and Tuesday, December 4 have been added to the Finger Lakes live racing schedule. The extension was initiated due to previous cancellations that occurred in the 2007 meet.

Longshot of the Week: Sixyearstotheday was an upset winner of the second race on Friday. The 3-year-old gelding scored the victory by a neck at odds of 45-1 under jockey Nazario Alvarado. The Linda Dixon-trainee’s previous victory on September 14 was also a surprise at odds of 32-1.
