Ludwig Lamm is the official winner of the February 9, 2008 Finger Lakes Simulcast Handicapping Challenge

Congratulations to Ludwig Lamm for scoring 36 points in the February 9th Handicapping Challenge and earning the $1,000 top prize!  In the final race, Ludwig vaulted himself into a two-way tie for first place with Donna Goetz, who had led throughout the competition.  Ludwig then won the first place tie-breaker with a mutuel win total of $38.80 (winning races 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9).  Donna Goetz took second place with a mutuel win total of $28.80 (winning races 2, 3, 4 and 6).  Peter Friday earned $400 by placing third.  The top 25 contestants in each of the February and March Handicapping Challenges will qualify for the Handicapping Finals which takes place on Saturday, April 12 2008!  Once again, contgratulations to Ludwig Lamm! 

Our next Simulcast Handicapping Challenge will take place on Saturday, March 8th, 2008.  Entries are free and will be available at the gift shop on the day of the contest.  Good luck everyone!
