Janice Anderson and Lew Wilson are co-winners of the June 28, 2008 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge
Congratulations to Lew Wilson and Janice Anderson, co-winners of the June 28th, 2008 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge. Yet another challenging day was in store as few favorites managed to hit the board and longshots took precedence, especially in the 5th race in which a $2.00 trifecta would have yielded a $12,908 payout. The day was so challenging that all five remaining contestants were eliminated in both the 7th and 8th races, and therefore were allowed to continue since a winner could not be declared. In the end, Lew and Janice both survived the ninth race and matched each other equally in the tiebreaker. For their efforts, Lew and Janice each took home 50% of the top prize or $400 a piece. Congratulations once again to both our winners!
Our next competition will be the $2,500 Handicapping Challenge which takes place on Saturday, July 26th. Entry is free and entry forms will be made available at the racing gift shop on the day of the contest. Good luck to all our contestants!
