Margaret Ringwood Wins the June 27, 2009 Finger Lakes $1,000 Hit The Board Eliminator Challenge!
Congratulations to Margaret Ringwood of Pembroke Pines, Florida, the winner of the June 27, 2009 Finger Lakes $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge! Unlike last week, where over a dozen contestants hit the board in all nine races, this week yielded a much different result. The day began with 353 contestants and by the end of the third contest race, only 18 survivors remained! Margaret, however, was doing just fine as she won her first five races and sailed to the finish. In the end, Margaret was the only contestant to hit the board in all nine contest races with 7 wins, 1 place, and 1 show to claim the $800 Top Prize!
Our next handicapping contest will be held on Saturday, July 18th as we present the $2,500 Handicapping Challenge. Top three point earners win cash! Top 25 qualify for the Handicapping Finals! Winner of the finals earns a berth in the 2010 Horseplayer World Series! Good luck to all our contestants!
