FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Officials at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack announced an increase in superfecta opportunities on the wagering menu. The popular play will be available in all races that have at least seven betting interests and no coupled entries. The change will go into effect beginning Tuesday, August 25.

A customer can cash a winning superfecta ticket by correctly selecting the top four finishers in a single race. The bet is preferred by many patrons because it provides a chance for big payouts with a ten cent minimum gamble. The wager was previously only available in the fifth and final race on the Finger Lakes card.

Live racing will continue five days a week with a 1:10 p.m. post time on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and a starting time of 12:35 p.m. on Friday. Post time will move to 12:15 p.m. on all live racing days beginning November 2 until the conclusion of the season on December 5. Thursday will replace Sunday as a race day beginning September 17 and continue through the remainder of the season, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, November 26 and December 3, when there will be no live racing. The gaming floor featuring nearly 1,200 slot machines is open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
