A look back and ahead…

C T Chimes won the feature race on Monday by two and one-half lengths in a six furlong time of 1:11.36. The Michael Lecesse-trainee was guided to the gate-to-wire triumph by jockey John Grabowski. With the eighth race victory, Grabowski moved into the lead in the Finger Lakes jockey standings over John Davila, Jr. Davila has been the top rider at "The Thumb" the last seven consecutive years. He has finished ahead of his closest competitor by more than 30 wins in each of the last four seasons.

Longshot of the Week: Twnytonitonfrtyone shrugged off even money favorite Azucaa Anne to win Monday’s third race at odds of 48-1. The 2-year-old filly scored the three-quarter of a length victory in her career debut for trainer Ralph D’Alessandro. The victory was the first of three on the card for D’Alessandro.
