FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack has announced that it will move its first race post time for Saturday, November 7 up to 11:45 a.m. to better coordinate race times with those of the 2009 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. on that day.
Finger Lakes will also offer simulcast wagering of the first six Breeders’ Cup races at Santa Anita on Friday, November 6 beginning at 3:35 p.m.. On Saturday, the World Thoroughbred Championships will begin at 1:45 p.m.
Beginning Monday, November 2, Finger Lakes first race post time will be at 12:15 p.m. daily and gates will open at 11:00 a.m. on all live racing days with the exception of Saturday, November 7. The 2009 live racing season is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, December 5.
