Congratulations to Maureen from Farmington, New York, the winner of the January 9, 2010 Finger Lakes Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge!  Contest races were Aqueduct #1 through 9 and proved to be extremely challenging as long shots ruled the day!  After the very first contest race, 71% of our contestants were quickly eliminated.  By the fourth race, only 31 contestants remained.  Then in an exciting turn of events, all 31 contestants missed the board in the 5th contest race and were called back to compete in the 6th race.  Then in the 6th race, Maureen was the only contestant to hit the board and claimed the top prize of $800.  Also, for winning the contest early, Maureen was also awarded $50 in betting vouchers.  Congratulations to our winner!

 

Our next Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge will take place on Saturday, January 16th.  As always, entry is free.  Gates open at 10:30 am to allow extra time for Members to register.  Contest track will once again be Aqueduct #1 - #9 (use Gulf Stream #1 - #9 if Aqueduct cancels).   We hope to see you there!
