Robert E. Kelly Wins The March 27, 2010 $2,500 Finger Lakes Simulcast Handicapping Challenge!

Congratulations to Robert E. Kelly, the winner of the March 27, 2010 Finger Lakes $2,500 Simulcast Handicapping Challenge! Today's contest was extremely exciting as 4 of our contestants were perfect entering the eighth contest race, leaving them only two races away from earning our new $10,000 Pick-9 Bonus! However, a 51 to 1 longshot claimed the eighth race and spoiled their bid for the pick-9. In the end, Robert E. Kelly posted 8 wins and 1 place to earn the highest contest score to date (48 points out of a possible 50) and the $1,000 top prize! Rosalie Mikulski, Ed Gladding, William Sile, and Steven Begandy Jr. tied for 2nd place with a score of 46 points and took home $250 each. A minimum score of 41 points was needed to qualify for the Handicapping Finals. All qualifiers from our March contests will receive an invitation to Handicapping Finals which takes place on April 10th. The contestants with the top ten scores in the April 10th finals will take home cash, and the winner of the finals will earn a berth in the 2011 Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.
