Congratulations to Jamie Hayes for winning the June 19, 2010 Finger Lakes  $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge!  The day began with 280 contestants and quickly fell to 99 survivors when "Fresh Footnotes", the popular choice in the first contest race, did not finish in the top three.  By the fifth contest race, there were only 16 survivors remaining.  Following the 9th contest race, six survivors had successfully hit the board in all nine races.  However, Jamie claimed the title in the tie-breaker with 4 wins, 3 places, and 2 shows.  Jamie is 18 years old, a first time visitor to Finger Lakes Live Racing, who just graduated high school last week.  Congratulations Jamie, your summer is off to a great start!  

 

Our next $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge will take place on Saturday, June 26th.    Contest races are Finger Lakes #1 - 9.  Entry is free and entry forms are available at Player Extras and Finger Lakes Program Stands.  Don't forget, Gates open at 11 AM!
