A look back and ahead…
TVG (Television Games Network) made an appearance at Finger Lakes on Sunday morning. The national specialty channel dedicated to horse racing arrived at the Western New York track to obtain footage of Lisa’s Booby Trap. The 3-year-old filly has won three consecutive races by an average of twelve and one-quarter lengths and is expected to make her next start in a Grade 1 stakes at Saratoga Race Course.

Timothy Snyder, the owner and trainer of Lisa’s Booby Trap, was interviewed by TVG for the feature that will air this week. "I’m shocked that they came out this far", said Snyder. "I can’t believe they had that much interest in the horse."
Snyder bought his favorite horse in Florida for $4,500 before she began her racing career at Finger Lakes. The filly’s success has instigated purchase offers for amounts up to $500,000 but Snyder has refused to sell her for any price.
Lisa’s Booby Trap scored an eight and one-half length victory in her most recent start on June 29. She won the one mile and seventy yard allowance race in a final time of 1:43.60 under jockey Elaine Castillo. The bay Florida-bred is undefeated in three starts and has amassed a total of $33,660 in purse earnings.
