Robert Bernard Wins August 14, 2010 Finger Lakes $2,500 Handicapping Challenge!

Congratulations to Robert Bernard, the winner of the August 14, 2010 Finger Lakes $2,500 Handicapping Challenge!  Robert bested 363 other contestants with a top score of 40 points to claim the $1,000 top prize ($500 if not present)!  A five way tie for second place (38 points) was settled by a mutuel win comparison in which Dane Daghita took sole possession of second place with $51 in mutuel wins and Richard Mckenna took third place with a win total of $30.80.  A score of 35 points or higher was needed to break into the top 25 and qualify for the handicapping finals in October (date to be announced).  Invitations for the finals will be mailed in late September.  Once again, Congratulations to Robert Bernard! Our next $2,500 Handicapping Challenge will take place on September 11, 2010.  This is your last chance to qualify for the October finals, so study hard!  Good luck to all our contestants!
