Wise Awake has registered the most victories of any horse this season at Finger Lakes. The M. Anthony Ferraro-trainee earned her sixth consecutive triumph on Thursday. She won the eighth race in a six furlong time of 1:12.42. The 5-year-old mare was guided to the one length victory by jockey Pedro Rodriguez. Visiting the winner’s circle was a common theme for Rodriguez this past racing week. Rodriguez directed seven mounts to victory during the five day stretch.

Lisa’s Booby Trap is entered to run on Thursday in the $70,000 Riskaverse Stakes at Saratoga. The Tim Snyder-trainee is listed as the 5-2 morning line favorite for the second division of the turf race for 3-year-old fillies. Kent Desormeaux is expected to ride the classy Florida-bred in the ninth race. Desormeaux guided her to a sixth length triumph in the $70,000 Loudonville Stakes on August 6. "Dateline NBC" is currently working on an upcoming one hour special focused on the $75,660 earner. The national weekly television show is expected to make an appearance at Finger Lakes to shoot additional footage about the undefeated filly.

Jockey / Trainer News: Trainer Freddie Vazquez saddled his first career winner on Tuesday. Akebono scored a gate-to-wire victory in the first race. Jockey Ezequiel Perez was injured after the running of the ninth race on Monday. Perez will miss the remainder of the 2010 meet with a broken collarbone.
